Thanks for the call. Here is what we talked about, written down so it is easy to look at and easy to change.

The problems.

Problem 01
The site is live and now needs to grow
The site is up and you are happy with it. New briefs will keep coming and the team will keep growing. Joe, your lead designer, is not on the about page yet. Someone needs to keep the publications and about pages current as things change.
Problem 02
The CRM you paid for never got set up
You had Close for two years and nobody set it up. Right now every conversation lives in your head and in your email. There is no pipeline yet for Grace or Zarah to work from.
Problem 03
You want your briefs to reach more people
Each brief takes weeks of work. When it is ready, you email it to the people you know, one by one. There is no list, no way for someone to subscribe, and no easy way to send the next one to everyone who read the last one.

How we can help.

One thing for each. There are two bigger things you mentioned for later, splitting consulting and the platform on the site and making the site more visual. We can look at those when you are ready.

Fix 01
Keep the site current
Up to three updates a month. Small things like a new brief with its PDF, a new team member on the about page, or a text change. Each one takes us under an hour and goes live within three to four business days, holidays aside. If something bigger comes up, we tell you first.
Fix 02
Set up Close in your name
We sign up for Close under EdBetter and connect your email and calendar. We build a simple sales pipeline, from first contact to signed, with a smart view so you can see where everyone is at a glance. Your contacts go in. Then we record a video on how to use it and do a training call with your team. This is a one time setup. After the handover your team runs it. If you would rather we run it for you, that is a separate piece of work and we can scope it when you need it.
Fix 03
Start the newsletter
A Substack under the EdBetter name with your logo and colours. Your current list goes in, if you have the names and emails. A subscribe box goes on the site and you get a link for LinkedIn. We will also suggest a few simple ways to get more people to subscribe.

Do I have to write anything?
You write the briefs and the newsletter, the same way you do now. We take what you write and put it up on the site and in the newsletter.
Q 02
Who runs Close day to day?
Whoever you pick from your team. It takes a little time each day to keep it up to date. We record a short video on how to use it and do a training call with that person.
Q 03
Do I have to use Close?
It is the simplest one and you already know it. Close bills you directly. We pick the plan together before you pay for anything. I would suggest the Growth plan, around $100 a user a month, but there are smaller plans and we can look at them together.
Q 04
What if I need something bigger?
Tell us what it is. If it fits in the monthly updates, we do it. If it is bigger, we tell you what it would cost before we start.
Q 05
Who owns the accounts?
You. Close, Substack and the site are all in EdBetter's name.

Close, Substack and the site are in EdBetter's name and stay yours. We keep access only for as long as we work on them.
